Getting out and about
is an excellent way
to enhance social and emotional wellbeing and we explore a wide variety of spectacular locations such as parks, beaches, dams, farms, mosques and other places of interest. These trips are a great experience, where everyone is able to enjoy the sunshine and spend the day sightseeing with friends.
We also provide a myriad of centre programs aimed at enhancing health, knowledge, skills and wellbeing. Our arts and craft activities are always popular and you never know what new talent you may discover with lessons such as pottery, flower arranging, painting and endless other creative endeavours. We conduct a range of gentle group exercise programs such as Tai-Chi, yoga, circuit training, and strength & stretch sessions. We also hold discussions on current affairs and considered events occurring in Australia and around the world. Games day provided an opportunity for fun and healthy competition. Centre activities are also an opportunity for education and we welcome a wide range of speakers over the year with information relevant to the health and wellbeing of seniors.
